Hand crafted from solid ebony, this astonishing set is a functional work of art. Ebony, an exotic lumber from South and Southeast Asia, is one of the rarest and most valuable types of wood on the planet. Its rarity made it a coveted decorative medium of ancient kings and queens. Exceptionally dense and heavy, ebony is one of the few types of wood that does not float on water. This extraordinary quality is a testament to the extreme durability of ebony. To carve ebony requires years of experience and utmost mastery of the craft. Ebony is a dense black/brown hardwood, it is finely-textured and has a mirror finish when polished, making it valuable as an ornamental wood.
This magnificent dining set features elaborate carvings of elephant heads along four of its legs. Beautiful fish are engraved, in fine detail, along the table's aprons. The table and chairs are also delicately inlaid with a mother of pearl floral pattern that contrasts strikingly against the table's dark wood grains. This table is also fitted with two removable leaves, each 18 inches wide, allowing for adjustment based on needs. Two additional support legs at the center of the table provide extra support when the table is extended to full length. The set comes with eight matching side chairs and two matching armchairs topped with luxurious white silk cushions brocaded with cherry blossoms.
Care
Waxes and varnishes will dissolve in alcohol, so in particular avoid any alcohol spills and avoid using cleaning products that contain alcohol. Please bear in mind that certain liquids, especially those with strong staining capabilities, will stain and the mark(s) may be permanent.
Proper care can guarantee that the finish will last a long time. The finish used for oriental wood furniture and decor is durable and is generally low maintenance. Regular dusting with a slightly damp microfiber cloth will help keep the furniture clean. Make sure the cloth is clean before using, as foreign particles may cause scratching on the surface. It is also recommended to use the microfiber cloth to avoid scratching of the surface and to buff out smears and smudges. If using a damp cloth, always make sure to remove any excess water left behind, as this can damage the finish.
A standard furniture polish may also be used to restore the luster of the finish and to remove any grease or grime. During dry seasons (typically winter), you may use wood oil on the undersides of furniture to help protect the wood.
Avoid placement in direct exposure to the sun for prolonged periods of time. Sunlight can cause damage and fading over time.
Delivery
Each order is carefully inspected and packaged before it leaves our warehouse to avoid damage during transit. Every shipment is fully insured at no extra cost to you.
This item is shipped via third party trucking carrier within 3-10 business days. The delivery agent will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment once the shipment arrives into the local delivery terminal. The tracking information will be sent to you when your order ships. A signature is required for the delivery. Please

We have 3 shipping options available for you to select:
Most economical and basic delivery method. Shipment will be delivered to the end of the driveway near the curb. If there is no driveway, it will be delivered to the closest sidewalk/passageway near the curb where the truck will be parked for delivery.
Shipment will be delivered into the garage or to the front door as long as there are no steps leading to the door, otherwise it can be left in front of the steps near the front door. Shipment will be delivered into the lobby for apartments that have a lobby.
Premium delivery to the ground floor with 2-man uncrating, unpacking, inside placement with room of choice and debris removal.
Please inspect the package for visible damage before the carrier leaves. In the unlikely event you receive a damaged item due to shipping, please mark on the Proof of Delivery (delivery receipt) "damaged" before signing. We may not be able to process a damage claim without the Proof of Delivery marked "damaged".

Take an entire month to live with your purchase to decide if it's right for you. All ChinaFurnitureOnline.com orders may be returned for a 10% restocking fee up to 30 days after the order is delivered. To return an item, simply
