A charming work of art, this set of exquisite handmade bookends depicts a boy and girl diligently studying atop a collection of classic Chinese poem books. The manuals in the children's hands feature two poems by Li Bai, an acclaimed Chinese poet from the Tang dynasty. On the left page it reads, “The moon shines a silver light as cold as autumn frost. Looking at the moon, I long for home.” The page on the right is an optimistic uplifting poem, “The sun is setting. The Yellow River runs into the sea. To view this great earth, one must go up high in the tower on the mountain.” From the children's facial expressions to the elegant calligraphic text, each element of these bookends has been painstakingly depicted by hand. This is a functional work of art and a perfect addition to any bookshelf.
Care
Always remember that porcelain and other types of ceramics are delicate and fragile, so careful maintenance is important. Dust can be removed with a microfiber cloth. Warm water combined with mild soap may also be used to remove smears, finger prints, and other grime. Make sure not to use hot water, as this can cause damage. You may also use a soft bristled brush to clean tiny crevices.

Take an entire month to live with your purchase to decide if it's right for you. All ChinaFurnitureOnline.com orders may be returned for a 10% restocking fee up to 30 days after the order is delivered. To return an item, simply
