Magnificently hand forged and richly cast with decorative ornament, this lamp takes its shape from the ancient bronze vessels of the Shang Dynasty (1066 B.C.). Topped with ivory linen shade. Lamp base measures 6"W x 4.5"D, 75 watt max.
Care
If possible, always keep bronze and similar metal materials in ventilated areas away from excessive heat or humidity. For regular cleaning, use a damp microfiber cloth making sure to remove any excess water or moisture left behind. For crevices and areas that are tough to get to, use a soft bristled brush.
It is natural for a greenish patina to develop on bronze over time. This is a result of a natural oxidation process as the bronze is exposed to the environment. Occasional application (1-2 times per year) of WD-40 can help prolong this process.
For the lamp shade, regular dusting with a microfiber cloth is sufficient.
